This course provides information and guidance on the selection, proportioning, and application of shotcrete in civil engineering construction. This course is intended for the use of engineers and technical staff involved in planning, designing, and construction. The wide acceptance of shotcrete for slope and surface protection, swimming pool construction, tunnel lining, special architectural features, and renovating existing structures has resulted in a large demand for shotcrete applications in construction industry. The course material is based entirely on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Engineering Manual EM 1110-2-2005 Standard Practice for Shotcrete.

At the conclusion of this course, the learner will have a better understanding about the Utilization of Shotcrete as Construction Material in Civil Engineering Construction Applications as well as an understanding of the following topics:
